Cut through is a process used on our metal, and our acrylic cards to remove internal sections of material. The result is a unique shape that is custom cut for your design. Many designers use cut through to display a logo so that it is visible in some form on both sides. Cut through can also be used as an accent to a company, or employee names. This is a finishing which affects both sides of the card. When designed correctly this finishing can create an elegant and modern addition to our metal and acrylic stocks.
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
● Bridges or at least 1mm thickness should be included to insure that any uncut out pieces within the cut through do not fall out
● Cut through affects both sides of the card. When designing be sure to leave from for the reversed cut out design
● Please allow for the minimum line width of 1mm
